How can you clean an old household radiator ? What would you suggest to get in between the sections .?
This radiator could stand a good cleaning what cleaning product and sponges, brushes etc would you suggest to access the tight spots. I'm sure people who have older homes must have encountered this situation .Any help would be appreciated.

get a baby bottle brush, you can get them at the dollar store sometimes, or the local grocery store.
they are designed for tight spaces and often have longish handles. Use it dry, to knock all the dust, etc out from between the sections, then using the long skinny attachment for the vacum, vacum between the sections and under it on the floor.
to clean it with a wet solution, put a plastic drop cloth under it to protect the floor, wet the bottle brush with the solution, I"d use vinegar and water to start off with, then clean between the sections. The bristols of the brush will help scrub it.
if you feel the need to dry it, use the towel oover the ruler trick. or just turn the heat on.
