I am considering putting in bamboo flooring I would love?
to hear from some people about their experiences. Mostly I am concerned with scratching and staining. My daughter has
a little dog that has been impossible to potty train and I am concerned that the dog will urinate on the bamboo and ruin it.
Any input will really be appreciated.
Thank You.
PS. Anyone want a brussels Griffon?

We have bamboo flooring at my work. Here are some of the pros and cons;

Pros;

-Looks great!
-Colors blend well
-Easy to install yourself (we did)
- Long lasting
-Seems to keep the office a little cooler (unsure why)
-Easy to clean

Cons;

-scratches very easy.
-Loud to walk on with heels
-Leaves scuff marks

With a dog I don't think I would recommend it.. When it scratches it looks horrible..

Hope this helps!

We have used a lot of different flooring but have always came back to plain old hardwood. Nothing beats it for durablilty. We like Bruce, pre-finished flooring, already stained and ready to go after installation. It holds up well against the dreaded potty problem too, we have a min-pin with a teeny tiny bladder lol.
